'If women are really good they will prevail on their own'

So why do so many women seem to get stuck along the way? Or why do they quit? The answer is simple: it is because top women are mainly measured by men's standards: the bold gestures, the big gambles, their skill at 'scoring' and regarding business as war.

The truth is that women in top management are just as good as their male counterparts, but different. Women's added value is in their unique approach and strengths: in building long-term relationships, seeing business opportunities in context, using multiple leadership styles, and always taking into account consequences for employees and organisation.
