We understand that each situation may require a different approach, and are flexible in the manner of search and selection, but do have a preferred way of working, described below. Orientation The first step is to ensure that there is a good insight into both the evident and the unspoken requirements of the position. Company and industry information are only part of it; it is crucial to understand the essence of the function and its immediate environment. To get a feel for these, we prefer to speak to several people within the relevant group. The function description and the profile of desired capabilities, background and experience and character are the point of departure. Search Woman Capital has spent years building a data base of selected women with proven talent and ambition in their fields. In addition we have access to many networks and many national and international contacts. We search widely for candidates in all of these sources to find the most complete overview of qualified women. These women are carefully traced and approached. With our extensive professional experience we are able to paint a realistic picture of the company culture and requirements of the person that would be a good fit with the function. Selection Women interested in the position are interviewed in depth. Only profiles of those best qualified are presented at and discussed with the company with the recommendation that a series of meetings be arranged. We are available to present these, if desired. We also often check references at this stage. After evaluation with both company and candidates, the best match is selected. Guidance During the entire process and the first year thereafter Woman Capital will stay in contact with both parties and is available for advice and evaluation.
